Good morning from Shiga Kogen and welcome to December.
The month starts well. It is a beautiful morning with blue skies and sunshine. Looking good out there.
And there are more ski lifts moving from this morning. The following ski areas are now part open: Yokoteyama, Kumanoyu, Ichinose Family and Takamagahara Mammoth. Details as I can find them shown below.
Yakebitaiyama plans to open from tomorrow.
Fairly calm weather with a mix of cloud, light snow and clearer skies at times is currently forecast for the weekend.
