Hello and good morning from Shiga Kogen.
Yesterday started off cold, but somehow it didn't feel crazy cold out on the mountain during the day. (To me anyway).
Light fine snow is falling at the moment.
Overnight about 10cm of fresh is being reported by Yakebitaiyama. Kumanoyu are reporting 0cm. So it's one of those depending on where you are mornings... I am seeing 4cm.
For the upcoming long weekend we are expecting clear and calm weather. There's almost no chance of much fresh after today until around Tuesday of next week, but a decent chance of some sunshine.
Monday is a national holiday in Japan.
All popular ski resorts will very likely be busy.
