Perhaps somewhat unexpected snow to report this morning, but I'm pleased about that. 10cm or so since yesterday I'd say and more higher up I would think.
Light snow is still falling as we approach lunchtime here in Maruike, but in places around the resorts some blue skies have been appearing and the sun as well shining down. It looks and feels like it will clear up as the forecast told us to expect.
Good chance of the sun out over the weekend, especially tomorrow. As you may well know it's a long weekend this weekend with Monday as a Japanese national holiday and so it should be lively out there. Certainly much more than weekendays like today, when the slopes are very quiet indeed.
Hope you have a good weekend wherever you may be.
Nighta operations planned for tonight at the following resort areas:
Ichinose Family
Ichinose Diamond
