It is good to see snow back with us today. A few cm overnight and a few cm more on cars parked around areas as I was driving around earlier on. Light snow is still falling here in Maruike, but it's not heavy snow by any means - more the kind that will just give us a thin dusting so no changes to those snow depths shown below.
It looks like by tomorrow we might be back to clear and sunny skies over Shiga Kogen, with more of that on Saturday as well. In fact, aside from the chance of some sprinklings overnight, there doesn't seem to be much chance of snow in the coming week. Somewhat worrying for early-mid January. Cold front... this way please!
