This morning there is still cloud around but blue sky too, and the sun is breaking through. It feels like it is going to be a fine morning to enjoy some fine early season conditions.
The ski area reports 24cm of fresh snowfall on the top Yamabiko area since yesterday, taking the official snow depth up to 75cm.
Today the Uenotaira quad will be moving and part of that run will also be available.
Sun is forecast for tomorrow. One of the tests this season is going to be: will it remain cold when it's fine and sunny. Let us hope the answer to that is 'yes'.
