Snow!

Snow is falling this morning right down here to village level with about 5cm and counting - this is the first time we have had more than a sprinkling here in the village this year and it is of course great to see.

The resort as of 8am are reporting up to 20cm of fresh snow on the upper slopes and around 10cm on lower to mid areas. That's not enough to open today of course but let's have more fall today and see how things shape up tomorrow morning. Alas, the forecast doesn't give much hope of snow beyond tomorrow morning and at least into the first half of next week, so today is all important.

I'll bring you the latest tomorrow morning.
