Morning from Nozawa Onsen.
Just several cm of snow to report since yesterday morning at base.
This morning the ski area is reporting 5-7cm on upper areas since yesterday afternoon. Fingers crossed, some more today.
There's limited visibility in places this morning, though as you can see below, some limited breaks in the cloudy with a little blue sky on view at times.
(Light) snow forecast on and off today and tomorrow with clearer skies currently expected around Sunday.
