Good morning from Nozawa and I'm glad to be able to report some decent snowfall overnight with the resort reporting 15-20cm over the mountain this morning. Yamabiko is back up to 2m snow depth. It's good to see a nice new fresh layer down here at base too.
Visibility not so good this morning as the snow continues to fall though it should ease off later today and we might get to see some clearer skies tomorrow morning.
It's not so cold this morning and hovering at just over 0C as of 9am, and probably will just get colder this afternoon and overnight.
Still busy here and it will be over the weekend as well. Things should be getting back to normal from Monday after the New Year holidays.
All lifts go! I am about to get out on one myself. Should be great.
Official snow depths:
Yamabiko - 200cm
Uenotaira - 170cm
Hikage - 85cm
