Yesterday was... good! All that lovely fresh snow on the top area of the resort was a lot of fun. A lot of people enjoying themselves out there yesterday.
Cloud remained but there was also some blue sky and the sun came out too. A fine day.
The resort was reporting an additional 3-4cm of snow across the mountain at 3pm yesterday afternoon; there's no more to add to that this morning.
All courses are open now apart from Kandahar, Mukobayashi and Hachiman. It should be another very good day.
Visibility looks limited on the top area; decent otherwise and even a few breaks in the cloud looking up from base. I note that there are clear blue skies over (the fairly nearby) Madarao, so perhaps we'll get some of that.
We can expect that chance of some sunshine tomorrow morning along with perhaps slightly milder conditions too but more snow is due over the coming week.
