Hello from Nozawa Onsen.
We are still on course for a ski area opening tomorrow morning with the Yamabiko D scheduled to be available. Some fresh snow later today and into tomorrow, as per forecasts, would be most welcome.
I bet our favourite bright green, skiing vegetable, Naski is all waxed up and ready to go.
Here is the plan for the day:
Nagasaka Gondola lift (8:30am until 3:30pm, last one down at 4:00pm)
Yamabiko Number 2 Four lift (8:45am until 3:30pm)
Yamabiko D Course
Note that there is no snow at base yet - you will need to ride the gondola to get to the top area that is open.
