Hello from Nozawa. And back to white.
Yes, there's fresh snow on the ground with the resort reporting 15cm on the upper Yamabiko and Uenotaira course areas.
They aren't reporting from lower slopes anymore but there's a cover down here too which I can report.
By around lunchtime the snow should have stopped leaving us with a cloudy afternoon.
Fresh snowfall recorded by resort since yesterday:
- Yamabiko (1407m): 15cm
- Uenotaira (1230m): 15cm
- Lower areas are not reporting any more
Official snow depth numbers (reported by resort):
- Yamabiko (1407m): 190cm
- Uenotaira (1230m): 100cm
