A bit of snow at base with 5-7cm being reported by the resort up top this morning.


And it is a mix of cloud and blue sky at the start of the day and fairly mild conditions.


More sunshine and warmer-still conditions are expected tomorrow, perhaps as warm as around 9C down in the village.


Fresh snow reported by resort since yesterday morning:

- Yamabiko: 5cm

- Uenotaira: 7cm

- Hikage: 2cm

- Nagasaka: 2cm

- Karasawa: 2cm


Official snow depths:

- Uenotaira: 330cm

- Hikage: 160cm

- Nagasaka: 150cm

- Karasawa: 90cm
