Welcome to the weekend and it's going to be another warm spring ski day here in Nozawa.

Today is going to be the better of the two weekend days as the forecast remains for rain tomorrow. Can it snow on the upper slopes later on in the day?

From Monday, lift ticket prices get a bit cheaper - for example a one day adult ticket is reduced from 4600 yen to 3500 yen; a one day child ticket is reduced from 2100 yen to 1500 yen. No word yet on any particular lift/course plans, so for now I am presuming that they'll stay open as they have been. There's still good snow cover, so no need to be shutting off areas just yet...

Official snow depths:

Yamabiko - 320cm

Uenotaira - 250cm

Hikage - 135cm

Nagasaka - 130cm

Karasawa - 80cm
