Posted on Wednesday 24th January 2024 This is an archived report. The latest Nozawa Now report can be found here.

This morning it is cold and snowy. Hurray!

The ski area is being a bit shy with numbers as of 8:30am (34cm up top since yesterday, not reporting from base areas yet), but I measure 37cm and the local official measurement is 35cm.

Naski has only been out on the Hikage area for half an hour and already is wearing a bit of a snow hat. Oshare!

More due today and tomorrow. Excited about reporting big numbers over the next few reports.

Visibility is limited this morning so if you are here and enjoying the fresh snow, wrap up well and take extra care out there.

Information regarding ski area operations is manually checked every morning and is believed to be correct at the time of the report.
