Independent snow and weather reporting from the Nozawa Onsen region of Nagano

New snowfall at base 8cm
Snowfall at base this season 1087cm

Posted on Thursday 24th February 2022 This is an archived report. The latest Nozawa Now report can be found here.

There's sun and clearer skies in some places in the region. For the moment we have some cloud over us here, but the sun just starting to break through in lower areas. It feels like it is going to clear up.

Sunshine is forecast for tomorrow and the day after and it will get slightly warmer (hopefully not too much). Lots of snow and some very fine conditions.

I hope some of you reading this can be here to enjoy it.
