Independent snow and weather reporting from the Nozawa Onsen region of Nagano
New snowfall at base 12cm
Snowfall at base this season 129cm
Posted on Tuesday 21st January 2020 This is an archived report. The latest Nozawa Now report can be found here.
Fresh snow on the ground this morning and interestingly the resort is reporting a uniform 10cm across all areas of the mountain.
The Skyline course is back to fully open status which is great to see, leaving us with just a handful of course that remain closed. Other than that, Nozawa is fully open.
Limited visibility this morning with snow still falling, though it should be easing off later on in the day. Let's hope we can get some more cm out of it. Tomorrow should be sunny, and I would imagine it would be a good day out on the mountain.
