Morning from Nozawa.


Light wet snow early this morning but as things get slightly warmer during the day time today there is a real chance of rain, but we should be back to snow later on and tonight with potentially decent snow falling.


This morning wind is affecting top lifts with the Nagasaka Gondola, Yamabiko quads, Uenotaira quad and Skyline connecting lifts at a standstill at the time of my report. If winds ease up, they will try to get them moving...


Fresh snow reported by resort since yesterday morning:

- Yamabiko: 5cm

- Uenotaira: 3cm

- Hikage: 1cm

- Nagasaka: 1cm

- Karasawa: 0cm


Official snow depths:

- Yamabiko: 370cm

- Uenotaira: 275cm

- Hikage: 205cm

- Nagasaka: 195cm

- Karasawa: 150cm


Lifts operations:

- All lifts operating except:

- Nagasaka Gondola (due to wind conditions)

- Yamabiko quads (due to wind conditions)

- Uenotaira quad (due to wind conditions)

- Skyline connecting pair (due to wind conditions)

- Yunomine pair (usually closed on weekdays)
