It's quickly turning into a fine morning with the sun out. Still some cloud around after some modest snowfall overnight, and there's more cloud due to move in later on today. Possibly with heavy snow again tonight. Sounds good to me, that.
There's also some decent snowfall likely through the coming week, particularly over the weekend. So February looks set to start in good shape.
Fresh snowfall recorded by the ski area (total since yesterday afternoon):
- Yamabiko (1615m): 10cm
- Uenotaira (1407m): 12cm
- Hikage (660m): 5cm
- Nagasaka (616m): 5cm
- Karasawa (563m): ?cm
Official snow depth numbers (reported by the ski area):
- Yamabiko (1615m): 345cm
- Uenotaira (1407m): 295cm
- Hikage (660m): 290cm
- Nagasaka (616m): 260cm
- Karasawa (563m): 175cm

Planned operating lifts (this is general info - for any specifics see top report):
- Subject to weather conditions all lifts that plan to be open should be ok. See above main report for specific info for this morning.
- The top Yamabiko A-D courses close at 3:20pm until 27th March (at 3:10pm after that).
- Skyline course closes at 4:10pm.
