Morning from Nozawa.
More fresh snow to report to you from yesterday and overnight, totalling an official report of 10-30cm across the mountain this morning.
Very nice!
And check it out - the sun is out. There was more cloud around when I got up, but now the sun is shining through and there's an increasing amount of blue sky.
It feels like it is going to be an excellent day.
Fresh snowfall since yesterday (as reported by the resort):
- Yamabiko (1407m): 26cm
- Uenotaira (1230m): 33cm
- Hikage (660m): 17cm
- Nagasaka (615m): 19cm
- Karasawa (563m): 10cm
Official snow depth numbers:
- Yamabiko (1407m): 370cm
- Uenotaira (1230m): 300cm
- Hikage (660m): 230cm
- Nagasaka (615m): 225cm
- Karasawa (563m): 175cm
Lifts operations:
- All scheduled lifts appear to be operating as normal.
- The Yunomine pair, Mizunashi triple, Challenge pair and Utopia pair lifts usually rested on weekdays.
