Independent snow and weather reporting from the Nozawa Onsen region of Nagano

This morning the resort is reporting 10cm of fresh snow on the top Yamabiko and Uenotaira areas overnight.


And actually while there is quite a lot of cloud around, it's at the same time bright and the sun is peeking through the clouds at times.


The forecast still says snow during the middle of the day - as well as some windy conditions. I'll let you know how that goes tomorrow morning.


Fresh snowfall recorded by resort since yesterday afternoon:

- Yamabiko (1407m): 10cm

- Uenotaira (1230m): 10cm

- Hikage (660m): -cm

- Nagasaka (615m): -cm

- Karasawa (563m): -cm
