Morning from Nozawa and the snow clouds are still with us, though probably not for the whole day. But they'll hang around and maybe bring us some more fresh snow tonight and tomorrow too, though I wouldn't expect much.


For those looking forward to some clearer skies, perhaps Wednesday and Thursday might give you some of that...


Fresh snow reported by resort since yesterday morning:

- Yamabiko: 20cm

- Uenotaira: 16cm

- Hikage: 10cm

- Nagasaka: 10cm

- Karasawa: 0cm


Official snow depths:

- Yamabiko: 400cm

- Uenotaira: 305cm

- Hikage: 230cm

- Nagasaka: 215cm

- Karasawa: 170cm


Lifts operations:

- All lifts operating except

- Yunomine pair (usually closed on weekdays)

- Mizunashi triple (usually closed on weekdays)

- Challenga pair (usually closed on weekdays)
