New snowfall at base 1cm
Snowfall at base this season 431cm

Posted on Thursday 13th February 2014 This is an archived report. The latest Nozawa Now report can be found here.

Good morning from Nozawa and... it's snowing.

There's not a whole lot yet on the ground - as of 7:30am the resort was reporting 2-3cm on the upper areas of the mountain and 1cm lower down. Heavy snow isn't forecast for today - most local forecasts are giving us more just cloudy conditions than snowfall - but it's all looking more exciting from late tomorrow and over the weekend when we can hopefully expect some decent snowfall in the region.

All fingers crossed please! Bring it on, oh yes please.
