Another 5cm or so of snow since yesterday at Nozawa as the snow clouds moved back in later on yesterday. This morning they remain with us with light snow falling on the mountain. Nothing major. The forecast tells us that weather conditions may well clear up today, followed by some clearer skies and warmer temperatures tomorrow.

Warmer still conditions likely on Saturday and maybe even some rain, but we'll try to wish that particular event away! The forecasts do seem to be telling us that we'll have to wait into next week though for the next cold front with snow to arrive.

As I write the report this morning the lifts aren't moving yet but resort operations should remain the same today as they have been. We await news of more areas opening up, perhaps soon!
