Cloud with light snowfall this morning.
I'm a bit confused by of the official snowfall numbers from yesterday and this morning (a total of 77cm since yesterday morning on the top area?!), but that is not to say they are incorrect. Just surprised. And I was not able to get out on the mountain yesterday. Anyway, you can see those numbers below, the first number being daytime yesterday numbers and the second being overnight numbers).
JMA recorded 18cm of snowfall over the last 24 hours and my own reading is 21cm.
Anyway, taking off the nerd hat, we have fresh snow and conditions should be good and fun! That's the most important thing.
We will probably get clearer skies and sun tomorrow from early on.
