It has been a good few days for us with lots of fresh snow at last to play in.
The resort has reported 24-30cm of fresh snowfall since yesterday morning with about half of that coming since yesterday afternoon.
This morning there is still a lot of cloud around, but the sun breaking through clouds and there's blue sky in places as well. The remaining clouds will probably disappear leaving us with a fine day - perfect to get out and enjoy the fresh snow.
It's National Foundation Day in Japan (a national holiday) and so the resort treats it like a weekend with all but one lift operating this morning. Tomorrow we are back to a normal weekday.
So how's that forecast looking for the weekend? Still looking like it's going to rain and be too warm for our liking, unfortunately. We can only hope for better than the forecasts. The good thing is that once we get over this warmer spell we should be back to snowfall once again by late Sunday and Monday.
