ORIGINAL REPORT:

Good morning!

And good news as well as we approach the weekend.

It was colder yesterday and a some cm of snow on the ground by late afternoon. It's cold this morning too and I have a total of slightly over 10cm to add to the tally since my last report. No doubt there will be more than that higher up on the mountain.

Before we get too carried away, we are still due for a milder spell over the weekend but early next week temperatures look set to drop again with some very good snow potential lined up. Yey!

Resort-type folk are no doubt frantically looking at the forecasts, preparing to make their preparations, preparing to prepare to make their preparations, and quite possibly losing a bit sleep about how the coming days will shape up. Of course, everyone wants to get open as quickly as possible, but there's certain conditions that need to be met in order to do so.

We have the comfort of just observing and hoping, munching on our toast. Or other most enjoyed breakfast. (Natto, perhaps?) ;)
