Wow!
I have another 29cm of fresh snowfall to report to you since yesterday.
This really is a very nice run up to the lifts opening at Niseko Grand Hirafu on Thursday, which surely they will be able to do now. It is very likely that it will not continue being full-on winter from now on - we can expect some milder temperatures around Wednesday and Thursday - but still, very happy with how things are shaping up right now.
Let's hope that we can avoid rain that might spoil the fun around mid-week... unfortunately it's there on the forecast at the moment. Still, even so fingers crossed it might be snowing at higher elevations.
I think there'll be a lot of folk lining up for those first lifts in a few days. It will be fun to see how much can open too, no doubt we'll hear more about that around Wednesday.
I will keep you posted, hopefully with news of further snow in my report tomorrow morning.
