Independent snow and weather reporting from the Niseko region of Hokkaido

New snowfall at base 8cm
Snowfall at base this season 35cm

Posted on Friday 17th November 2017 This is an archived report. The latest Niseko Now report can be found here

After my report yesterday of snowfall, this morning I have some more to report. 8cm of it.

And it's good quality stuff too, nice and light. Brilliant!

And that's not all. The forecast is good. More snowfall is due over the weekend and beyond.

Everything is looking good for a quality start this coming Thursday as planned. That's what we like to hear.

Right now it isn't snowing and it's a mix of cloud and blue sky. It might get slightly warmer tomorrow before dropping again for the weekend and that snow.
