Good news from Naeba... there's snow on the ground and it has been much colder after a warm weekend.
So the mountain is covered in white this morning and it has come down to base.
Very light snow is still falling but there have been spells of brighter skies. (Even a bit of sun at times).
The next snowfall is forecast for around Saturday.

The ski lifts at Naeba are due to start moving on Saturday 14th December.
Before that, Kagura Ski Area (via Mitsumata Ropeway) hopes to be able to open on Saturday 23rd November.
This report will concentrate on Naeba, so keep your eye on the Yuzawa Now report for more regular updates that will include Kagura info.
