Hello from Naeba.
It has been snowing, and there is at least a few cm across the base area of the ski resort now.
It has been on and off and actually coming down nicely now, especially higher up, as I write this. Think wet rather than light and fluffy.
We probably shouldn't expect much more by tomorrow (and after today in the coming week).

The lifts at Naeba ski area are due to start moving on Saturday 14th December.
Before that, Kagura Ski Area (via Mitsumata Ropeway) was hoping to open today, but that has been officially delayed.
This report will concentrate on Naeba, so keep your eye on the Yuzawa Now report for more regular updates that will include Kagura info.
