Regular readers will know that a perfect day for your writer is when the snow is really coming down; bundled up, goggles in place, flying through snow with no edge sound, terrible visibility—this is perfect skiing.
If you like blue skies, great visibility and pretty good cold (meaning the snow will be very nice), well, this is your day in Myoko. It's beautiful out there, with only a light west wind, a few clouds here and there but the mountains sparkling with the little bit of snow that fell overnight. I have to admit, I wouldn't mind cruising around on a day like today....
The heavy snow forecast for tomorrow night has been pulled back to moderate snow, but let's keep fingers crossed (and hope the sun doesn't cause another layer to be laid down in the snowpack). Just keep an eye out, go with good people, have all your gear, and be ready if we do swing around to heavy snowfall after this nice day.
