The snow is falling again - just in time to cover the icy chunks left over from the rain and the following high winds and increasing cold. We could use a good reset, after watching the snowpack really get eaten up. Although it is handier for the wind to clear off roofs and woodpiles than using a shovel (and the wind dries the firewood! Bonus points....).


A little bit concerned about the ice layer and its effect on the steep slopes outside of the area, but I'll have more data in the coming days.
