A little bit of sun - finally - as we enter the Golden Week weekend.
Still some clouds/fog over the ski areas, but the mists did open up long enough this morning to show that there is fresh snow and white-covered trees from the top of the ski areas up. It's been pretty cold over the last few days, too, so the remaining snowpack is hanging on just fine.
Still pretty cold today, although hopefully we'll see more sun, and a little more springlike conditions.
It is spring, after all (even if the snow did fall in May!).
Both Akakan's upper runs and Seki are open.
----
Akakura Kanko: Open until 6th May - Sky Cable gondola and No. 3 lift, Hotel No. 5 lift).
Seki Onsen: Plan to be open until 6th May.
