Independent snow and weather reporting from the Myoko region of Niigata

New snowfall at base 56cm
Snowfall at base this season 429cm

Posted on Sunday 30th December 2018 This is an archived report. The latest Myoko Now report can be found here.

The snow keeps on falling. And falling. And falling....

We got a little less than 60cm since yesterday, which is less than expected, in a way, since it snowed all day long. And, even after a plowing at the end of the day, thre was a LOT of snow on the ground this morning.

Tomorrow might be sunny, but the snow should continue for most of the week.

Oh, it's all good for the New Year!
