Independent snow and weather reporting from the Myoko region of Niigata
New snowfall at base 29cm
Snowfall at base this season 528cm
Posted on Saturday 30th December 2017 This is an archived report. The latest Myoko Now report can be found here.
More snow through the night, along with some wind, has resulted in just under 30cm of pretty heavy stuff.
All good, though, and the slopes need it with a lot of cars heading up the hill from pretty early in the morning.
The international travelers might get the attention lately, but there are a lot more Japanese around, especially for the New Year holiday!
