A late start today; the trusty turbo snowthrower decided to throw one of his treads last night as I dug out the roof of my house. OK, I helped by getting him partly buried when the roof released, but it's a big job ahead with some heavy machines involved to get him back into running order. As the snow keeps piling up...
A nice fall of fairly dense snow overnight has the trees covered in white.. .well, everything is white this morning (including my snowthrower). No complaints, though; should be a great day for skiing.
Take a little care if you're going off the resort, because the now could sluff pretty easily, which would not be fun if you're in the wrong place (like in a gully, or about to slide into one). Get all your gear on, go with a team and take it a little easy.
