A big start to December: snow all through the day Saturday, for a total of 61cm at base level. Today it's an absolutely perfect blue sky, very little wind--too bad we don't have a little more snowpack, because it would be a perfect day for skiing.

The official opening date is the 15th for the Akakura resorts. If it keeps up like this, hopefully we'll have all the lifts going soon.
