New snowfall at base 1cm
Snowfall at base this season 157cm

Today is another sunny day in Myoko.
Yesterday it became overcast through the day with some very light snow falling (while the rain was pouring down in Joetsu City, the large city lower down and connecting to the north of Myoko City). The forecasts today were for something similar happening today, with cautions for avalanches (which are up every day on TV news) and rain and lightning later on, although that seems more likely lower down.
There was also a forecast of unseasonably warm weather ahead — I think the weatherman's words were, "Once in 10 years" — so it's a little scary for the snow. There were some patches of dirt here and there on the slopes yesterday, mostly from a little too aggressive grooming.
