More snow! More than expected!


Niigata Prefecture's snow forecast - which is pretty good - predicted 20 to 40cm. We got 56cm of nice light stuff (really pretty big star snowflakes were falling early in the morning during the daily clearing ritual.


Going to be great skiing; just be careful on really steep stuff offpiste (that new stuff is going to sluff!)
