There's a great word that pilots and sailors use - "sucker hole" - for a short spell of nice weather that suckers you into thinking it's going to be a nice day. It's sunny right now in Myoko, and I can see people who like the sun all excited about going out. But it ain't going to remain, I'm pretty sure!
It's already grey over the mountains, almost certainly from snow as well as clouds. This morning's news warns of possible heavy snow along the Sea of Japan, meaning here, of course. Not too much fell over night, although it was the nicest, big, sparkly stellars (star-like) flakes. The kind you want to ski in.
Hopefully, more is coming soon. Apologies to the bluebird fans.
