Snowfall at base this season 1377cm

I think we can officially state that the big snow, for which a heavy snow warning was announced, did not occur. Our official 24 hour total is four (4) centimeters of snow. Not worth shoveling.
Like yesterday, though, we have some pretty interesting snow crystals this morning. Yesterday it was big clumps of graupel, or soft hail; today we have little ice needles, about 1mm in length. Just for your snow interest....
It is the weekend, so all the main lifts are running. It's sunny (although with a thin cloud level way up there), the wind is strong at times from the southwest, but not so much to affect lifts (not yet, anyway; one never knows as the winds shift over the ocean, and we get ready for the next potential snow cycle over the next two days).
