Independent snow and weather reporting from the Myoko region of Niigata

New snowfall at base 15cm
Snowfall at base this season 179cm

Posted on Wednesday 18th December 2024 This is an archived report. The latest Myoko Now report can be found here.

A late start, because the snow decided to wait until sunrise to get going.

Almost nothing at 5am; really coming down since 7.

Pleased to announce that Seki Onsen rejoins our report, thanks to the editor-in-chief/head programmer/General Sweat the Details at Snow Japan (let us pause a moment in thanks for the man who makes all this possible). Seems like the resort decided to change sekionsen.com to sekionsen.jp. Without notice.... Oh, well, happy to see them back, with no reports up yet.
