New snowfall at base 9cm
Snowfall at base this season 213cm
Posted on Tuesday 14th January 2020 This is an archived report. The latest Myoko Now report can be found here.
Well, our prayers at the local festival helped a bit, about nine centimeters' worth.
Guess we didn't work hard enough at it (we did work on the saké a little more than was probably a good idea, but that's the idea of a festival, right?).
It is sunny, though today, in this ongoing cycle of a bit of snow, then a sunny day, then a bit of snow. It's getting cold overnight, which is good; the freezing level is staying relatively low (a couple of times it might get up to about 1000 meters, but not for long).
There's no major snowfall predicted in the coming week, but snow will continue to come down a few cm at a time. Not powder, but you could use some work on that perfect turn, right?
