Independent snow and weather reporting from the Myoko region of Niigata
New snowfall at base 20cm
Snowfall at base this season 1453cm
Posted on Wednesday 11th March 2015 This is an archived report. The latest Myoko Now report can be found here.
The snow has continued to fall, but not really in the "heavy snow" class - well, it is pretty heavy, in that it's full of water—pretty heavy pow today!
Probably another 20cm on top of yesterday's 20. One nice thing was that we didn't see the high winds that areas closer to the ocean and Hokkaido had yesterday (maybe Mt. Myoko shielded us to the west).
Nice light snow continues, though, and it is nice to have things white and clean again.
