Snowfall at base this season 321cm
Posted on Tuesday 17th February 2026 This is an archived report. The latest Hakuba Now report can be found here.
Morning from Hakuba. I have to be in Matsumoto this morning and so a quick and early one today.
A little snow since my last report, but it didn't amount to much in terms of new cm.
Hakuba Cortina appears to be reporting 5-10cm of fresh and Goryu reporting 2cm.
It's pretty cold at the start of the day but we have a lovely morning with blue sky and sunshine.
Other than snow tomorrow night, there seems to be quite a bit of sun lined up on forecasts until at least the end of the weekend.
