Snowfall at base this season 319cm

Posted on Saturday 14th February 2026 This is an archived report. The latest Hakuba Now report can be found here.

Good morning from Hakuba.

From early on today we have beautiful clear blue skies.

It is going to be a fine day and, as expected, warm. Temps down in the village are expected to rise above 10C this afternoon and tomorrow. (It's actually quite cold early on, but should be warming up fairly quickly).

I'm going to put that thought out of my mind and get out to have me some fun this morning. Maybe one less layer!

Expect a busy weekend.

I am a bit early today for some of the numbers to be updated.
