Fresh snow, yey!
Here are the reported snowfall numbers from ski areas:
Hakuba Cortina: 30cm
Hakuba Goryu 20cm
Tsugaike: 20cm
Hakuba 47: 20cm
Happo-one: 15cm
My own measurement is 16cm.
So sounds like there's a fine fresh layer of snow to play in this morning. Very good.
As the time approaches 9am, the sun is out and we have a fair amount of blue sky. So it should be a very good morning.
We can expect a fair amount of sun over the next 3-4 days. It's fairly cold early this morning but it will be getting milder, especially on Sunday.
