New snowfall at base 20cm
Snowfall at base this season 595cm

Posted on Friday 13th March 2015 This is an archived report. The latest Hakuba Now report can be found here.

Hello, and it's another excellent mid-season morning here in Hakuba. Oh hold on, it's mid-March!

It's still snowing.

By tomorrow morning though it should have eased off and starting Sunday it is going to start getting warmer again and likely feel all spring-like once again. Some warm conditions expected next week - double digit territory.

For now though, conditions are excellent and should be for the next few. Not going out to make the most of it if you can would be a crime!

March... what a funny old month it can be!
