It sure was windy yesterday.
I'm happy to report that it's calmer this morning. Just cloudy earlier but it's snowing lightly now and we are due some heavy (at times) snow today and into tomorrow.
On the Valley official site, Tsugaike has 48cm of fresh snowfall noted. Don't know where that's coming from and what's going on there, but it's completely different from what all the other ski areas are reporting. I'm thinking typo. (Let's just say I won't be going there in the hope of that much deep this morning...). Nearby Cortina is reporting 1-3cm.
For those planning on being here over the weekend, forecasts as they stand now are for calm weather and clear skies.
