Morning from Geto Kogen.
After a day of generally calm conditions yesterday, this morning I have 10cm more snow to report at base with double that being reported on the mountain. And it is still snowing now. Tomorrow is probably going to be a mix of cloud and snow and beyond that the snow continues to look like it will be falling consistently. Don't expect much in terms of clear skies!
Moderate north westerly wind is likely over the next few days.
The official snowfall number from the ski area has now risen to over 17m! (!)
Courses open:
All normal courses open.
Planned tree run courses: all (subject to inspection and conditions)
Lifts operating (subject to change):
Number 1 and 2 pair lifts, Number 1 gondola and quad lift plan to be open
Official snow depth (as reported by the ski area):
Upper: 470cm
Lower: 330cm
Total accumulated snowfall (as reported by the ski area):
1705cm
